TMMD Non-Physical Program Focuses on Agricultural and Livestock Development in Maron
Probolinggo, May 15, 2026 – The 128th TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) program carried out by Kodim 0820/Probolinggo continues to deliver tangible benefits to the community, not only through infrastructure development but also through improving the quality of human resources in rural areas.
As part of the TMMD non-physical programs, Kodim 0820/Probolinggo, in collaboration with related agencies, organized a Technical Guidance Program in the fields of Agriculture and Livestock at Cafe Dam 8, Brabe Village, Maron District, Probolinggo Regency.
The activity aimed to provide insight and knowledge to local residents, particularly farmers and livestock breeders, enabling them to develop the agricultural and livestock sectors in a more productive, modern, and sustainable manner.
The event was met with great enthusiasm. Residents actively participated in the sessions delivered by the speakers, which covered agricultural management, strategies to increase production yields, and livestock development to support the village economy.
Among those attending the event were Head of Agriculture Division of Probolinggo Regency Fajar Rahadian representing the Head of the Agriculture Office, Maron District Secretary Wawas Arif representing the Head of Maron District, Babinsa Sergeant Rustam representing the Koramil Commander, and Brabe Village Head Sunardi.
In his remarks, Fajar Rahadian stated that the technical guidance program was an important step in improving the community’s capability to manage the agricultural and livestock sectors more effectively.
According to him, improving the quality of human resources in agriculture would directly impact productivity and the welfare of rural communities.
Meanwhile, the representative of Maron District expressed appreciation for the TMMD program, noting that it not only focused on village infrastructure development but also paid attention to strengthening community capacity through educational activities and training.
Babinsa Sergeant Rustam emphasized that TMMD represents a synergy between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), local government, and the community in accelerating comprehensive rural development.
“Through this program, we hope the community gains additional knowledge and skills that can be applied in their daily agricultural and livestock activities,” he said.
Through this activity, the 128th TMMD program once again demonstrated its commitment to sustainable village development, not only through physical construction projects but also by strengthening the community’s economic sector to improve the welfare of the residents of Brabe Village and surrounding areas.
