MALANG – Hundreds of students of Kartika IV-2 Vocational High School (SMK Kartika IV-2) Lawang enthusiastically welcomed the visit of the Commander of Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya (Danrem 083/Bdj), Colonel Inf. Wahyu Ramadhanus Suryawan, S.Sos., M.M.S., M.Han., who personally delivered motivation and guidance to students during his working visit to Lawang District, Malang Regency, on Wednesday (13/5/2026).

Accompanied by the Chairwoman of Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana Koorcab Rem 083, Mrs. Lendri Wahyu Ramadhanus, the Danrem not only inspected the educational facilities at SMK Kartika IV-2 and TK Kartika IV-67, but also established warm communication with students and teachers.

The school hall was filled with enthusiasm when the Danrem encouraged students to dare to dream big and never give up in facing life’s challenges.

“Never feel inferior. All of you have great potential. Success belongs to those who are willing to work hard and are not afraid to fail,” the Danrem emphasized.

According to him, today’s younger generation must have the courage to determine their future direction from an early age and take advantage of every opportunity available for a better future.

“If you have dreams, pursue them seriously. Don’t be afraid to try, because opportunities do not come twice,” he added.

In addition to delivering motivational messages, the Danrem also directly inspected classrooms, the teachers’ room, and the school’s practice workshop to ensure that the learning process was running optimally. He also received presentations regarding the school’s conditions and needs from school administrators and teachers.

As a form of concern for the education sector, the Danrem also handed over tokens of appreciation to the school and held discussions with teachers regarding efforts to improve the quality of education within Kartika schools

The visit served as clear evidence of Korem 083/Bdj’s commitment to nurturing the younger generation through character education, discipline, and the spirit of nationalism.

“These children are the future of the nation. Their self-confidence, spirit, and fighting mentality must be built from now on,” the Danrem concluded. (*)
